Dear friend,
Thank you for your interest in the Creativity & Culture Online Conference scheduled to take place (online) on 22 & 23 September 2018.
This is a free conference, hosted by University for Life and designed to generate creative conversations between academics, entrepreneurs and educators. Besides expanding your network of contacts with an interest in creativity, if you present a speech or take part in an interview, you will also gain visibility and potential influence in the sphere of creativity.
Around 30 recordings of presentations and interviews from the previous conference (September 2017) are still available here: Creativity & Culture Online Conference 2017 Programme
Our focus is on making the conference widely accessible and inclusive so academics, entrepreneurs and educators are invited to participate in a range of ways to suit their availability:
- Record and submit a YouTube video using a TED talk style of presentation by 15 August 2018. Below are examples of recorded presentations followed by interviews from last year’s conference:
Dr Karl Jeffries
Aryna Ryan - Take part in an online recorded interview with Dr Jesvir Mahil (between 15 to 30 mins). This form of participation requires no preparation of content. However, you must have a high speed internet connection and a webcam set up for online recording in a quiet and private space. Below are examples of semi-formal interviews from last year’s conference.
Dr Finn Majlergaard & Dr Jesvir Mahil
Sandra Kerr & Dr Jesvir Mahil - Take part in one of the panel discussions about creativity which will take place online at 8pm GMT on Saturday 22 September and at 8pm GMT on Sunday 23 September 2018.
- If you are too busy to record a video or take part in an interview, you may simply register for a free ticket and forward the link to academics, educators and entrepreneurs who may be interested in participating:
